The person who coined the phrase “the pen 🖊 is mightier than the sword 🗡 ” grabbed my attention from an early age. As I have grown up I’ve always looked at these words for motivation and I’ve managed to even add my own modern interpretation “the keyboard ⌨️ is mightier than the nuclear ☢️ bomb 💣 “.
I believe writing was Gods direct gift men to share stories of sorrow, rejoice, forgiveness and anger amongst many emotions. Without writings the world would not be what it is today. I have managed to live a life of ups and downs , some may call it mistakes or arrogant behavior but I only know what it is . I took on this journey of life like a duck in the water and it has eventually led me here to this point where I am going to write stories about inspiration, innocence,sports , politics, alcohol, drugs and a serious believe in Africa and the whole world .
Apartheid yes stripped us of our lands but the most hurtful thing they did was strip most black people of their culture. Sacred bonds that were passed from father to son were badly served as thousands of fathers of this generation spent years either in jail or exile or cowering as security agents.
My life since it’s inception has always been an academic journey and some of the methods were not conventional but the intention was always trying to find solutions to problems rather than discuss problems. I am now in a position to share what I have learned with the world at large and I will be self publishing my first book on the 31st of July.
I hope to be able to share that journey with you as best as I can and hence I took this class. I hope to interact with everyone around the world and in the process make new friends because next time I might be visiting your city 🌃 for any cultural events
